Allendale Bakery is an exciting new bakery situated in the developing Allen Mill Heritage project by the river in Allendale.
Baking 6 days a week to supply shops, pubs and hotels throughout Tynedale we are open to the public from 9am Monday - Saturday.
We make both yeasted and artisan breads using the sourdough thechnique, including favourites like:
Poppy seed white, Bloomers, 100% wholemeal, Ciabatta, Foccacia, Pain de Campagne, San Franciscan sourdough.

Our Cafe opens Spring 2009

The cafe will be open Tuesday to Sunday 9 - 5, serving freshly baked breads, cakes, biscuits and pastries with a wide choice of teas and coffees.
We will also serve hot and cold meals using ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.
A selection of fine wines and beers from Allendale Brew Co. will be available to accompany the meal. The perfect place for a relaxing break on a day out!
The upstairs room of the cafe will be availabe for hire for small meetings, private functions and workshops.

We'll also take orders for special occasions.
