The Bowes Hotel is a 200 year old building set in the beautiful picturesque village of Bardon Mill, 15 minutes from the famous market town of Hexham
Favoured for its close proximity to Hadrian's Wall, the Bowes is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and travellers from all over the world who want to appreciate the breathtaking scenery of the area. Four en-suite letting rooms are available throughout the year for those wishing to take advantage of the ideal location of the Bowes as a base.
Bardon Mill is well served with transport having the regular 685 from Newcastle to Carlisle / Carlisle to Newcastle bus stopping by the door and the train station a minute’s walk away.
The Bowes has recently undergone extensive refurbishment with the new owners promoting a warm and friendly environment, with homemade meals now being served from a good sized menu and specials board, using fresh local produce and ingredients.
