The Taste of Local food!

The Otterburn Tower and its Oak Restaurant has always been proud of the food it serves. Most of the beef, lamb and game is sourced locally from the owner’s farm at nearby Longwitton in Northumberland. The care of the maturing of the meat is taken over by the team of chefs at the Otterburn Tower. They want to ensure that the flavour of the produce they use is the best quality – then they will start to prepare the dishes for the a la carte menu.

The Otterburn Tower has always had a reputation for not only using local meats but also using local flour when baking their fresh rolls and free range local eggs from Kearsley. They also use seasonal local fruit and vegetables whenever possible. This gives the chefs the best chance of creating the finest cuisine with less air miles and more flavour for you to judge!

NEW! This Spring sees the opening of The Tower Inn in the grounds of the Otterburn Tower. It is a new experience of eating out – with good quality local food at reasonable prices and local ales served all day.
